The builder's cherry wood cabinets were due for an update. The client really wanted to brighten the space and update the storage. We also shifted the appliances so they were centered on the island and maximized the space with kick drawers under each of the cabinets. The exquisitely fabricated book matched backsplash and large island are the jewel of this kitchen.

Because the backsplash was so unique and beautiful, we didn't want to punctuate it with outlets. Instead, we incorporated plug strip under the upper cabinets and new pop-up outlets from Mockett that are hidden in the countertop!
